Tom and I were discussing my politics recently. The conversation went something like this:
Tom: Do you consider yourself a man of the people, James?
I: No, but I do consider myself to be a man for the people.
Tom: That's good. Is it Edmund Burke?
I: No; it's Derek Jacobi in Gladiator.
