Thinking About Thanksgiving
I think that this is going to be the fourth or fifth Thanksgiving during which I have not had turkey. I'm actually pretty glad about it. Turkey is a highly overrated bird. People ought to have some variety of duck or drake instead.
I am a Christian. I do not belong to any church, nor am I a church member, although I attend church. Theologically speaking I am Arminian, but they have no official church. On official documents, I am said to be an Anglican, but that is only because I marked myself down as one in high school in the hopes that the Anglican Church (one of the more wealthy) would give me a scholarship. Not that I didn't consider becoming a priest.
